Procurement unit of Finnish government selects Cloudia as supplier of procurement lifecycle services with €10 million offer

The decision confirms Cloudia’s status as the market leader in providing digital procurement and contract management solutions.
Cloudia has been selected as the supplier of procurement lifecycle services for Hansel during 2019-2025 (2028) after a successful competitive bidding process. With a comparison value in the single supplier framework agreement that exceeded 10 million euros, Cloudia was selected as the supplier for the second time in a row.

Hansel Ltd put out the tender for procurement lifecycle services during the summer of 2019. The groundwork for the process was performed in cooperation with the customers of KL-Kuntahankinnat Ltd and is based on their specific needs. As a result of the corporate merger between Hansel Ltd and KL-Kuntahankinnat Ltd, the procurement process will be seen through by Hansel Ltd.

The system that will be acquired is divided into modules that support the different phases of the procurement process, including planning and preparation, tendering, contract management and supplier management. The aim of the procurement system is not only to provide a solution for the publication of calls for tender or tender notices that comply with the Public Procurement Act, but to also develop processes and working methods with contracting entities. Additionally, it supports the further development of cooperation between different contracting entities, tenderers and suppliers.

The decision to renew the agreement confirms Cloudia’s status as the market leader in Finland when providing and developing first-class procurement solutions. ”We are very pleased with this decision as it clearly demonstrates that our solutions meet the needs of the modern market. Hansel made an announcement regarding the contract award on Wednesday the 25th of September. The most economically advantageous tender assessment criteria and weighing of different factors were used when comparing the bids.
